N2  - Anatomical description is presented for the hominid metatarsal III recovered form the Layer IV of Dmanisi (Eastern Georgia) in the 1977 field season. The specimen is illustrated and its measurements are given. It is concluded that it should be attributed to the same species as the Dmanisi mandible from the Layer V (Homo ex gr. erectus).
