N2  - This note presents a novel approach to facial approximation adopting forensic methodologies, that is the
process of recreating an individual's facial traits from their osteological remains by combing anatomo-anthropological
techniques with artistic rendering. In this article, a facial approximation of the famous mummy known as the "Gilded
Lady" is offered based on previously published video material and CT scan data. The process is explained in its main
steps. This new facial approximation contributes to the ongoing technical development of the digital applications to the
field of bioarchaeology.
