N2  - The observations are to highlight the impact of migration and environment on the anthropomoteric characters among the Santals and Mundas of Assam, who migrated from Bihar. The anthropometric data collected from both the migrant and parental groups have been put in comparative assessment to find out the changing patterns. The study shows that immigrant Santals differ from their parental group with higher values, in case of immigrant Mundas it is just the opposite.
