They were in an advanced state of decomposition. The skeleton was not complete. The dead person was a brachycranial, brown-haired male aged about 55 years and 6 months. He was of small stature and his skeleton was of medium robustness. There were many healed and unhealed injuries on the bones. The paper reports on the difficulties encountered during the identification based on medical reports, which were not accurate, nor complete. The most difficult question to answer was whether the injuries inflicted by an E 280 cutter during corn harvest on 25 August 1982 were fatal or not. ER -
