D. was carried out applying different techniques (haemagglutination - inhibition and absorption - elution) on different substrata (bones and hair) in two laboratories (Pisa and Prague). The research aimed at evaluating the degree of reliability of paleoserological diagnoses. The results shot differences in the sensitivity of techniques and in the reactivity of substrata, while the prevalence of discordant diagnoses in the two laboratories is reasonably low. ER -
