N2  - L'examen des adaptations de l'homme à son environnement forme une approche de la paléopathologie. Pour identifier les causes de l'usure oblique très particulière des dents de l'anténéandertalien de Banyoles (Catalogne), nous avons utilisé le microscope électronique à balayage. L'usure oblique est accentube si les aliments sont moins résistants et moins fibreux, mais plus abrasifs et acides.
N2  - One approach in paleopathology is the examination of the adjustment of man to his environment. To identify the causes of the peculiar oblique wear of the teeth of the Anteneandertal from Banyoles (Catalogne), we have made the use of SEM. The change from normal molar wear into more oblique wear reflects the changes to less tough and less fibrous food with an increase of abrasive and/or acidic food.
