Abstract
Bašta J. 2001: A contribution to knowledge of the Carabidae of the Danube River delta. Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 1-27. - In the period of the years 1979-1994, a systematic exploration of the Danube delta in Rumania was carried out by members of the Zoological Department of the Moravian Museum, Brno. A characterisation of the area and of individual localities is given. As a result, a list of 190 species of the family Carabidae, supplemented with comments on the sampling methods used for the research, is presented here.

Háva J. 2002: Five new species of Dermestidae (Coleoptera), with notes on synonymy and distribution of the family. Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 29-40. - Evorinea madagascarica sp.nov. from Madagascar, Phradonoma picea sp.nov. and Anthrenus (Anthrenus) maharashtranus sp.nov. from India, Adelaidia rufa sp.nov. from Indonesia: Java, and Dermestes (Dermestes) schneideri sp.nov. from Mongolia are described and illustrated. New records extending the known geographical distribution are published for the following species: Dermestes (Dermestinus) marocanus Háva, 1999 (Morocco); D. (D.) undulatus Brahm, 1790 (Canary Isl.: Lanzarote); Attagenus postfasciatus Pic, 1951 (Senegal); Thaumaglossa rufula Pic, 1931 (Indonesia: Java); Reesa vespulae (Milliron, 1939) (Chile); Orphilus beali Zhantiev, 2001 (France, Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Cyprus, Turkey); Anthrenus (Anthrenus) mesopotamicus Háva, 2001 (Iran, Syria); A. (A.) goliath Saulcy in Mulsant et Rey, 1868 (Hungary); A. (Nathrenus) capensis Guérin-Méneville, 1838 (S Africa: Cape); A. (N.) verbasci (Linnaeus, 1767) (Argentina). The following synonymy is proposed: Dermestes (Dermestinus) carnivorus Fabricius, 1775 (= Dermestes impressicollis Reitter, 1881 syn.nov.).

Abstract
Kolibáč J. 2002: Description of the larva of Dermestoides sanguinicollis (Fabricius, 1782) (Coleoptera, Cleridae, Korynetinae). Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 41-45. - A larva of Dermestoides sanguinicollis (Fabricius, 1782) is described and some morphological characters are figured. The larva shows common synapomorphies with larvae of Clerinae (especially the morphology of the epipharynx) and differences in comparison with larvae of American Orthopleura Spinola, 1844 species. The larva of D. sanguinicollis hunts Lymexylon navale L. (Coleoptera, Lymexylonidae) larvae in their galleries.

Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 47-54. - Larvae of Lymexylon navale (Linnaeus, 1758) and Elateroides dermestoides (Linnaeus, 1761) are described and some morphological characters (especially the mouth parts and cranium) are figured.

Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 61-65. - A list of Tachyini of Romania summarising known species and noting Tachys (Paratachys) turkestanicus Csiki, 1928, Tachys (Paratachys) centriustatus Reitter, 1894 as a new record for Romania and Tachys (s.str.) centralis J. Sahlberg, 1900 as a new record for Romania and Europe.

Abstract
Olejníček J. 2002: Nematoproctus kubani sp.nov. (Insecta, Diptera, Dolichopodidae) from Laos. Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 67-70. - Nematoproctus kubani sp.nov. (Insecta, Diptera, Dolichopodidae) is described from Northern Laos. It is possible to distinguish the new species from the single Oriental species known to date by the unforked cercus and by the yellow proboscis.

Pelikán J. 2002: A new Ascirtothrips Priesner, 1964 from Central Asia (Thysanoptera, Thripidae). Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 71-73. - A new species of Ascirtothrips Priesner, 1964 is described from Kazakhstan. Very specific dorsal appendages on abdominal segment IX of males are sufficient diagnostic characters to distinguish it from the related A. shirabudinensis (Jachontov, 1929) and other species of this genus.

Abstract
Řezáč M. & Bryja V. 2002: Dysdera hungarica Kulczy?ski, 1897 (Araneae, Dysderidae), an interesting new species for the arachnofauna of the Czech Republic. Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 75-81. - Dysdera hungarica Kulczy?ski, 1897 was recently found for the first time in the Czech Republic. This very rare species occurs in the Czech Republic only in the warmest parts of southern Moravia. Interestingly, only females were found, which supports the hypothesis that only parthenogenetic populations are present in central Europe. Illustrations of the vulva and the cephalothorax are presented. Spider species living together with Dysdera hungarica in the localities examined are listed.

Abstract
Stehlík J. L. 2002: Results of the investigations on Hemiptera in Moravia made by the Moravian Museum (Tingidae). Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 87-149. - Remarks on the distribution and biology of the Moravian species of the Tingidae are given. The species Galeatus sinuatus Herrich-Schaeffer is new for the Czech Republic and Tingis auriculata (A. Costa) new for Moravia. The family Tingidae is represented by 50 species in Moravia.

Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 151-200. - Distribution and bionomical remarks on species of the Tingidae. Kalama aethiops Horváth is new for Central Europe. The family Tingidae is represented here by 61 species.

Abstract
Antonín V. 2002: Retocybe Velen. (Basidiomycotina, Tricholomataceae): type revisions of species described by J. Velenovský with notes on status of the genus. Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 87: 201-207. - Type studies of six species described in the genus Retocybe Velen. 1947 are given. Four preserved type specimens are revised. Retocybe milliaris Velen. and R. vitrea Velen. are considered identical with Delicatula integrella (Pers.: Fr.) Fayod, R. fallax Velen. and R. minuta Velen. should be classified within the genus Mycena (Pers.) Gray. The results of this study confirm an opinion that the genus Retocybe represents a later synonym of the genus Delicatula Fayod.

Abstract
Sutorý K. 2002: Johan Hruby´s Campanula material in the herbarium of the Moravian Museum (BRNM). Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno), 87: 209-218. - The material of the genus Campanula (43 sheets) selected by Johan Hruby to illustrate his publications and preserved in the Moravian Museum is listed. Some strong reservations about Hruby´s approach to his taxonomic work and his manner of publication are expressed.
