Pelikán J. 2003: A remarkable Macrophthalmothrips Karny, 1922 from Laos (Thysanoptera, Phlaeothripidae).
Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 88: 1-4. - Macrophthalmothrips pacholatkoi sp.nov.
(Phlaeothripidae) from Laos is described. The new species belongs in the vicinity of Macrophthalmothrips
flavafemora Moulton, 1947 and M. argus (Karny, 1920).

Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 88: 5-19. - This paper adds 29 species of the
superfamily Pyrrhocoroidea to the fauna of Thailand (9 species previously known), including three
new species of Pyrrhocoridae: Ectatops major sp.nov., Indra dentipes sp.nov., and Pyrrhopeplus
immaculatus sp.nov. The species Dindymus rutilans Walker, 1873 syn.nov. of Pyrrhocoridae is
synonymized with Dindymus semirufus St?l, 1863.

Abstract
Burckhardt D. & Malenovský I. 2003: Lautereropsis gen.nov., a new psyllid genus from Nepal
(Hemiptera, Psylloidea). Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 88: 21-29. - The new
genus Lautereropsis is described for L. unifasciata sp.nov. (type species), L. pallidicornis sp.nov.,
and L. shiwapuriensis (Miyatake, 1981) comb.nov. (from Pauropsylla Rübsaamen, 1899).
The known distribution of Lautereropsis gen.nov. is so far restricted to Central and Eastern Nepal.
The new genus is referred to the Psyllidae (Diaphorininae) based on characters of the hind
legs and male terminalia. It is unique within the subfamily for having rhinaria on antennal
segments IV to IX and long setae on the forewing membrane.

Moravec J. 2003: Taxonomic revision of the genus Cheilymenia Boud. - 9. The sections
Villosae and Obtusipilosae, and a revision of the genus Pseudoaleuria Lusk (Pezizales,
Pyronemataceae). Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 88: 37-73. - The section
Villosae J. Moravec of the genus Cheilymenia Boud. is newly revised and comprises:
Cheilymenia villosa Gamundí (the type species), C. gemella (P. Karst.) J. Moravec, C.
chionophila T. Schumacher and C. sclerotiorum T. Schumacher. A lectotype (H) of Peziza
stercorea subsp. gemella P. Karst. is designated. The section Obtusipilosae (J. Moravec,
1990) stat.nov., originally a series of the section Villosae, is reassessed here as a
separate section with the type species Cheilymenia magnifica (W. Y. Zhuang et Korf) J.
Moravec (based on Coprobia magnifica W. Y. Zhuang et Korf), and Cheilymenia catenipila J.
Moravec sp.nov. described here. Cheilymenia campestris (P. Crouan et H. Crouan) J.
Moravec (based on Peziza campestris P. Crouan et H. Crouan) is considered here a later
synonym of Cheilymenia fibrillosa (Currey) Le Gal (based on Peziza fibrillosa Currey).
The latter is transferred here to the genus Pseudoaleuria Lusk (with type species Pseudoaleuria
quinaultiana Lusk) as Pseudoaleuria fibrillosa (Currey) J. Moravec comb.nov. All taxa are
illustrated with line drawings or microphotographs and SEM photomicrographs.

Abstract
Antonín V. 2003: Marasmius querceus Britzelm. (Basidiomycetes, Tricholomataceae) found
for the second time in Moravia (Czech Republic). Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae
(Brno) 88: 75-79. - A new find of Marasmius querceus Britzelm. and its detailed macroscopic
and microscopic descriptions are published. This fungus, collected in a thermophilous forest
stand with oak and hornbeam in the Hádecká planinka National Nature Reserve near Brno
(Moravian Karst Landscape Protected Area), was found for the second time in Moravia
(Czech Republic) after more than forty years.

Kubešová S. 2003: Bryoflora in block fields in south-western Moravian river valleys.
Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae biologicae (Brno) 88: 81-94. - 93 bryophyte species
(20 liverworts, 73 mosses) were recorded at 26 study sites. The most frequent species
in block fields are Barbilophozia barbata, Dicranum scoparium, Grimmia ovalis, Hedwigia
ciliata, Hypnum cupressiforme, Pleurozium schreberi, Pohlia nutans, and Polytrichum formosum.
Interesting occurrences of the species Antitrichia curtipendula, Bazzania trilobata,
Buxbaumia aphylla, Dicranum fulvum, Jamesoniella autumnalis, Lophozia excisa, L. longidens,
Polytrichum commune, Pseudotaxiphyllum elegans, and Racomitrium lanuginosum are discussed.
Seven threatened bryophytes were recorded in the block fields. The most common life-form of
the block field is the chamaephyte and the most common life-strategies are the colonial and
perennial. The most frequented distribution range types are the temperate, boreal, and
sub-boreal in the block fields. Life-forms, life-strategies, and distribution range type
spectra differ significantly between the block fields and the wider surroundings.

Bureš P. 2003: Distribution and hybridization of Cirsium heterophyllum (Asteraceae) in the
Czech Republic, with ecological and karyological remarks. Acta Musei Moraviae, Scientiae
biologicae (Brno) 88: 95-161. - Five natural hybrids with C. heterophyllum were confirmed
through the study of herbaria and field investigations. They are C. acaule × C. heterophyllum,
C. heterophyllum × C. oleraceum, C. heterophyllum × C. palustre, C. heterophyllum × C. rivulare.
A chromosome number of 2n=34 is recorded from the Czech Republic and brief comments on
morphological variability are included. Distribution maps for C. heterophyllum and for
the hybrids C. heterophyllum × C. oleraceum, C. heterophyllum × C. palustre and C. heterophyllum ×
C. rivulare in the Czech Republic are presented, based on an examination of herbarium specimens and
the literature. Cenological and ecological relationships are discussed. The climatic affinities of
C. heterophyllum are discussed with reference to the distribution of its localities within the
climatic regions of the Czech Republic.

88: 163-179. - Fifty-two higher plant specimens documenting new plant names and an additional
twelve specimens documenting unpublished plant names by David Heinrich Hoppe are listed and
commented upon. The specimens belong to the Münch-Bellinghausen exsiccate collection and they
are deposited in the Department of Botany in the Moravian Museum, Brno (BRNM).
