- Folia Mendeliana® publikují výsledky historicko-vědního výzkumu díla a života Johanna Gregora Mendela (1822-1884) a vlivu jeho myšlenek na studium živých systémů v evropském a světovém kontextu. V části Kronika informují Folia o významných přednáškách, výstavách a knihách k poctě Gregora Mendela a jeho světově uznávaných vědeckých úspěchů, které se staly základem moderního myšlení nejenom v biologii, genetice a evolučním programování.
- Folia Mendeliana byla založena v roce 1965 za podpory UNESCO. Komunikačním jazykem je angličtina.
- Folia Mendeliana vycházejí v rozsahu 70 stran pro každý rok a jsou publikována Mendelianem Moravského zemského muzea v Brně.
- Folia Mendeliana jsou primárně určena pro informované historiky vědy, genetiky a biology. Jednotlivé příspěvky jsou psány výstižným a dostatečně, ale ne příliš odborným jazykem, aby byly srozumitelné pro historicky orientované biology i odborníky v jiných oblastech.

- Folia Mendeliana® publish the results of the historical research into work and life of Johann Gregor Mendel (1822-1884) and the impact of his way of thinking on the study of life systems in European and world concepts. The chronicle part of Folia report on significant lectures, exhibits and books in honour of Gregor Mendel and his worldwide acknowledged achievement that has become the core of modern thinking not only in biology, genetics and evolutionary programming.
- Folia Mendeliana were founded in 1965 with the support of UNESCO. Their language is English.
- Folia Mendeliana appear in an extent of 70 pages for each year and is published by Mendelianum, Moravian Museum Brno, Czech Republic.
