František Vildomec(* June 2, 1878 in Svatoslav near Tišnov, † November 3, 1975 in Boskovštejn)After his studies at the Pedagogical Institute he worked as a teacher in Boskovštejn (district Znojmo). In the 1910s he started to research, together with Palliardi, the rich Neolithic findings in South-West Moravia. His life-long interest belonged to the Neolithic and Eneolithic, he made excavations in Jevišovice, Střelice, Boskovštejn, Hluboké Mašůvky, Ctidružice, Grešlovské Mýto, etc. He opened his unique collection of objects from the Culture with Painted Moravian Ceramics in his house in Boskovštejn to all those interested in the Neolithic. He published his discoveries in specialised periodicals.
