'Waldron TA, 1988: The Exposure of some Romano-British Populations to Lead. Anthropologie (Brno) 26, 1: 67-73'.

Abstract

The author studied the lead concentration in prehistoric Roman skeletal remains found in England. He considers the intra vitam and post mortem uptake, the increase with the age of the individuals and the posssible difference of the uptake due to the different sex of the studied skeletons. The anatomical site, from which the analyzed sample comes, is stressed.
