Abstract | A study of human remains from the Solutrean period found in the Nerja Cave (Málaga) in 1963 is presented. The remains belong to four individuals, three adults (one male, one female and one of undetermined sex) and one infantile. The best preserved individual, Nerja-1, displays plesiomorphic traits of cranial robustness and morphological characteristics that are similar to those observed in other European Upper Paleolithic specimens. | | Keywords | Nerja cave - Solutrean - Human remains - Iberian Peninsula | |
