| Abstract | | A map of the rock-art sites characterised by original technology and topics shows the extension of the "Messak-culture" expression area. The precise choice of the rock-art places and the structure of the picture-space obey to some criteria tied to the way of life of neolithic cattle breeders and the effect investigated by the authors. Le choix des sites et la composition de l'espace pictural répond à certains critères liés au mode de vie et au type d'expression recherché. Certaines gravures associant des signes et des êtres vivants visaient sans doute à transmettre des concepts élaborés. | | |
